Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
What is the point in exams really? TBH i think the gov' secretly gets kicks out of kids worrying none stop about whether they'll do well.
I'm gonna give a big fat Up Yours to the Gov come results day, after I've cried/drowned my sorrows in the School toilets lol :/
Bad times all round.

Tooty Fruity Madness of Summer
So another bored day of doing nothing looms ahead of me but it's all good. Roll on Thursday is what I say! Vintage Shop Parties and Cupcake madness galore. What could be better?
It also looks pretty darn good too A little like a sunset/rise in a glass and that is never ever a bad thing.
Hopefully this semi ok weather will hold out for a bit coz I actually cannot be bothered to be glum and tired again. Rain always brings on sad droopy moods lol.
My relationship is now officially complicated. So that's great really. Seriously never ever decide it would be fun to carry on what should have just been a brief holiday fling. It all eventually ends in tears and basally drunk times all round. Which despite how joyous it may sound is never actually a good thing. Although tbh I'm not complaining about the technique of trying to forget even if it is slightly deranged and also semi sorta downward spiral of mayhem :) If anyone is going through similar gorgey art boy withdrawal symptoms i thoroughly recommend Malibu Sea Breeze. Yum yum and yum again. It's perfection in a glass with cranberries and grapefruit and lime and pineapple you also get to pretend its 4 of your five a day :p

I have decided that I will definitely be going camping this summer. I'm sick of the same old sights and I crave to be out in the country where its endless fresh air and hilly footpaths for miles around. I actually dream to pop my head out of a tent and just see sheep and cows and the occasional dog walker. I don't know what it is about camping but it makes me feel so happy and calm and relaxed. Which really campers should not feel at all if my experiences are anything to go by. Endless mud treks just to get to the rather rusty bathroom in the middle of a freezing December night or running away from cows and tripping over startled (but ok) sheep. Yes you could say I am not your average camper lol. It's the one time where I actually stop worrying about what I look like because lets face it, campers never look completely drop dead out of the catalogue gorgeous do they? Unless they are fake campers who bring their entire makeup supply and such with them. Who can be bothered?
I have also decided to live my life in a carefree manner. No more worrying about what I look like all the time or if my hair is being crap and wandering off into a mind of it's own (which, sadly, is often the case). No I will be free spirited and Girl of the Mountains lol. I'm not gonna tame my wild ways rather encourage them. No more trying to be something I'm not because tbh that is way too much hard work and often is very unfruitful anyway. Plus when I am me sometimes people pay more attention so you learn something new everyday lol.
Although what could be attractive about an unstable laugh and hideous noes I do not know lol. But hey whatever floats ya boat.
Last of all I do have faceyb-you know that old torture chamber which slowly starts to become your sad little life lmao-So thanks for ze people who have added me and those who have not feel free to :)
Over and Out and TTFN also Au Revoir which I have not said in a while :)
Goodbye

Babbling And Rambling...
So I'm sitting at this computer, coffeed to the max and still feeling lazy. How? How after 3, (yes 3!) cups of coffee in 3 hours is this actually possible? Tbh I don't actually think it is possible I think something just went a bit wrong for me lol. I think it's now time to put down my lovely coffee stained cup and step away slowly so that I'm not lured back into this craving nightmare anytime soon.
I'm currently in love with Ryan Adams. He is an amazing song writer not to mention the guy has quite a voice :) Sylvia Plath (the song) is so relaxing and also I can totally relate to it. I wish I had a Sylvia Plath tbh. How cool would that be? Pretty damn cool I hear you shout and you are right. Sylvia Plath was the epitome of crazy but in a sophisticate wonderfully talented way. She basically, in my opinion, oozed class out of every word she wrote. The Bell Jar ranks high in my favourite books of all time, coming just a close second to The Great Gatsby which is Summer Sunshine and Jazz music in a book.
Summer is the perfect time for reading. You can sprawl out anywhere and just stretch your mind with thoughts of other worlds or cities or times. Yesterday I was deep in Whitby, smelling the sea salt and clean breeze and tingling whenever Dracula made an appearance. Today I'm deep in the American Depression and tomorrow I think I'll give 1920s America another try. I have music that goes with each book. For example The Great Gatsby goes perfectly with Miles Davis or Bill Evans Trio; Alice in Wonderland is 7.01 minutes of hazy smokey bars and women in floating dresses. I can envision the lawn parties when I hear Billy Holiday, Bessie Smith and Ma Rainey.
Summer so far has been full of utter LOL moments and mentally unstable times. Perfection really. I have my friends to thank for that and also the nonsense ramblings of my brilliantly mad mind :) Here are some pictures from yesterday:
(I am the one with the short hair, Becca is the other one)
Well I think that's enough for now. I can't really think of much to say lol. Weird.

Summer Thoughts
Well I haven't written in ages it seems which is quite bad or quite good depending on how you look at it. I've obviously developed some sort of "life" outside of the Internet and that can't really be a bad thing but I have also been neglecting to read the fab blogs that others have wrote and thats not really a good thing. Anyway a lot has happened to me since I last wrote, matters of the heart again needless to say.
Where to begin? Well let me see. My brain is now totally against me. In fact I'm pretty sure if anything it hates me and is doing everything in it's power to totally go against me in everything and anything and of course anyone. God it's so unfair no matter how much I tell it that under no circumstances should it start to pine after "that" boy it somehow always finds a loophole and does just that. Ridiculous. I'm pretty sure though that with some vigorous mind control exercises I can take back a little of my own thoughts and wipe out any funny ideas it might be getting against my will. I realise typing this that I sound mad and tbh I guess I am lol.
I have also become a fan of The OC something I thought would never happen. It's quite good in a "spoilt rich kids always in trouble" kind of way. I'm currently on the first series and have found myself rapidly becoming addicted. This series though will not wipe away my love for Gilmore Girls which is what I like to call, "A classier kind of drama." It's littered with wit and literary references that make me feel really clever when I get them lol.
Another thing I've sadly become a fan of is Jason Mraz, I never thought I would. But the stupid man has got right inside my head along with that over played song "Butterfly" there was just no need for it but of course my brain having a mind of it's own it has decided that now it likes that music and so I have been dragged along with it lmao.
I still maintain that Corinne Bailey Rae's Butterfly is much better though.
This summer I am totally going to Up my game when it comes to boys, I'm sick and tired of being single lol also I'm gonna tell myself every morning that actually I am attractive whether it be true or not.Confidence, I've been told, does wonders for you :) So confidence it shall be.
To finish let me just say I never thought I'd find people this side of 40 that would appreciate the same music as I do but It seems there are a few out there so I can at last talk about Little Feat and The Band and Bob Dylan etc freely and without feeling like a fool :)
That's all for today I think, I'll try and write more often.

Feels Like Nothing Matters In Our Private Universe
So I haven't written in this for a while. The main reasons being I don't have anything to say and no one reads this anyway lol so why bother :)
Well just got back from Manchester where I was staying for a rather boring week bar some fun activities :P More on them later though.
Manchester is basically like Newcastle but everyone has strange un geordie like accents lol, a bit like me then. And another weird point...No Esquires sooo I had to make do with Starbucks pathetic attempts to make perfect Mochas all week, bad times is an understatement me thinks :)
However Starbucks does have a very big redeeming quality...It is actually the perfect spot to meet potential holiday flings :p And meet one I did. Several but only one actually did catch my every wandering eye :)
So the story of my reckless Mancunian love life, lets begin.
Imagine a rather bored me on Tuesday afternoon. Stupidly agreeing to head into Bolton with Ruth to "see the sites" Bolton has few sites tbh, its mainly the same shops you get everywhere except they are somewhere else. However as I wandered nonchalantly through the streets of the "exciting" Bolton I happened to just glance into a JD Sports. I know what you are thinking errrr didn't know you went for the Chavvy types Roseanna. I don't is my response. He was definitely more the fit indie type having to spend his hours in a meaningless profession (that is what I would like to think anyway :p) anyway i would love to describe our meeting as a huge romantic heart stopping moment but it wasn't. No. It was me tripping over a stupid sign because I was toooooo busy staring at his floppy fringe. Damn all fringes to hell. Luckily this stupid girl flipping over a juice bar sign did not seem to fase him, he has probably seen alot worse tbh. He came out and picked up the sign, smiled at a red faced me and said "not seen you here before" obviously i couldn't respond to that, my voice deserted me. Ruth rescued me it was all good. At least he smiled. A real life (cool fittish) boy smiled at meeee- even if it was just "what a freak" kinda smile lol.
Wednesday-L'pool-Beatles Museum. Things were looking up. I set off with my Uncle (another Beatles Maniac-must run in the family, the whole Smith population-our smiths that is- rate George Harrison as the best Beatle too but thats just getting off topic) to the wonders of L'pool and all its great things (alot of criminals tbh but who's judging?).
The journey was consumed with me trying to convince my less than pleased uncle that actually there was every need to listen to Joni Mitchell and Neil Young instead of the Beatles. Hey we were going to the Museum, no need to look like complete nerds lol. Actually we did play at least 10 songs by them so he got his way.
The Museum was fun blah blah etc etc. I knew most of the facts, it was the exhibits I was interested in, Beatles, and umm others :) Lots of fit boys you see at this museum :) And I was satisfied that their musical tastes were up to scratch so I didn't even have to worry on that front.
Exhibit A- waaaay too old (guessing 23ish) but lush non the less, nice beardy type with a tweed jacket lol, have we got a professor in the building :P Yum. He had a girlfriend, not so yum lol.
Exhibit B- Blond school kid about my age I'd say, too noisy though and quite happy to boast about his new guitar fetish. You just knew he couldn't play tbh lol but nice to look at.
There was one more in between but the fact I have forgotten anything about him other than he must have been ok, must speak volumes about how much he measured up to the others lol
The final Exhibit-Jason. Ahhhh Jason nearly 18 and totalllllyyy completely out of my league. Except funnily enough he was the only one I spoke to :) It was dark, we were surrounded by pictures of John Lennon and Ringo Starr and I kept dropping things because I misjudged the distance from my hand to my bag. Well done me ey? Lol. Actually yeah well done me cause he obligingly kept picking everything up for me. At about the 6th thing dropped (pretty sure it was lip gloss, how vain) he started to laugh. This was obviously my cue to escape and just hide and cry lol but no I seemed to be laughing back? Freak. Anyway long and shorts my uncle was I'm guessing lost in the cinema bit, so i was free to skedaddle off with this Jason and start my love hate affair with Starbucks coffee.
We sat there for about half an hour talking about absolutely nothing. Tbh he could have been talking about world peace or Quadratics and I wouldn't have noticed. I was either too busy just staring at his hair (not curly enough :() or dithering about how I actually looked (in my head monster like) I think, I hope i made the right sounds in the right gaps of conversation. He seemed pleased enough though.
Anyways again the longjohns were that i got his number :) and subsequently met him twice after for some serious "talks" :P yeahh sadly it twas only a holiday thing he will waltz back off to his fit uni artsy musical mates that have so much more than me both in looks and meaning and I will just have to forget about him lol.
Back to depressingly single and rainy Newcastle times :/
Ahh it was good while it lasted :)

I Belive in Symmetry
So I'm watching Wimbledon and tbh I love it. It's just so...classy. Tennis has got to be my favourite sport, mainly because I get it and to love something you normally have to get it. Unless its a someone, you don't have to get a person to love them or crush on them. I should know lol.
Anyway back to Tennis. Seriously I could watch this sport all year round and not get bored. It has that feel of wealth. The pristine white dress, bright green courts, stands riddled with celebs all wearing flimsy Cotton dresses and cream suit jackets, all this to me = heaven.
Paired with Tennis listening to Bright Eyes is my new favourite sport. So at the moment I'm pretty much content as I'm fulfilling both my favourite past times.
This week has been lovely, apart from the occasional burst of rain, it's been pretty much perfect. I have spent most days on some kind of grassy green, whether it be in town or just in the park opposite me. I have lapped up the sun and enjoyed the quiet reading time that beautiful weather brings with it. Splitting my time between actually seeing friends and just talking to them on Facebook, my new guilty pastime.
Something about summertime bright colours always make me feel a lot better about life. Everything goes together in summer. Greens and pinks, blues and oranges. All these colours no longer stick out like a sore thumb when paired together. Instead they dish out those yummy fruity smells that make you want to dive into lakes and dance in forests. This is why I hope I go camping this year. The weather is perfect for it. Perfect for just climbing endless mountains and splashing in silky waterfalls surrounded by humid shrubs and sparkling rocks.
Something about this summer has made me want to write stupidly extravagant words about things that are so simple they make me tingle thinking about them. How sad.
Any way i have run out of empty things to say so i think I'll get back to reading, watching Wimbledon (Team Federer) and listening to Bright Eyes :)
